When tumblr and twitter both fail at the same time, you know it's the right time to just close firefox and write.

But instead you keep pressing F5.

I think I'ma need a glass of wine.

I don't like beer, but wine ? Like, a glass of pink wine, some melon and spanish ham. It's going to be hard to resist during the summer xD
There's a guy in my school who never works sober, for the sake of ~art. I'm a smoker, that's enough :P
(I love slipping French words everywhere ! And when I speak French I slip English/German words or entire sentences. I always find it very cute when, in a fic, people put French sentences with mistakes in them ♥ )

Tea is awesome ! It's just reaaally cheap Ceylan from the grocery store, but still. Oh, the things I would do for a cup of moroccan mint tea...

Of course you have, people went bonkers ! Ok, me too.

Awww, pink wine... *sighs* I only have cheap 11$-a-bottle wine from the convenience store :P Drinking pink wine in the pool during the summer is like one of the awesomest things ever.
I can't talk French without slipping English words every two sentences. I envy you so much to be able to do that with German! :P
French with mistakes in French kinda annoys me, actually :P I just want to step in and correct them, but I don't wanna be obnoxious...

My tea is from the grocery store too, I hope I'll get the job at the tea shop to finally buy some quality tea :D

I have a lot of Canadian friends who do the same, they're talking French and all of a sudden they pop an English saying and go on in French xD But I think in Québec you translate a lot of things in French, isn't it ?
I'm not that good at German, mostly it's when I come back from Germany, I'm all like "Entschuldiguuuung !" every time I bump into someone in the streets, and they look at me like "T'ES BIZARRRE". I do the same with Spanish D:
Oh, me too, don't worry. Though I have no problem with being obnoxious 8D

Is it like, a tea shop, ou un salon de thé ? :o

Well, with the Loi 101, everything must be in French first, and bigger than in English (dans l'affichage et les commerces, sur les produits etc.). I don't know if that's what you meant?
Entschuldigung is so the best word ever :D

It's a shop where you can buy tea in bags or in loose leaves, but you can also buy some that's already infused to drink right then. It's awesome, the staff is super friendly, they give you free sample to taste, and they let you smell every flavor :)

Yeah, I knew about that (and I think it's weeeird) but like, when I was in Montreal we went to MacDonald's and the Happy Meal is called le Joyeux Festin. It's little things like that :') Canada's so cute ♥

Wow :D It sounds like a nice place ! I hope you'll get the job :o

[identity profile] poire-gourmande.livejournal.com 2011-03-24 01:39 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, that's all because of the Loi 101 :P
You're right, Joyeux Festin does sound cute :P

I hope so too, my interview is Friday, so hopefully I'll get news by next week.

Oh, and did you like Montreal?
