Glee recap - Prom Queen
I have a lot of feelings about the prom episode (most of them positive ones), let me share them with you! :D
- I really don't get why Rachel immediately proposes "Run, Joey, Run" when they have to find songs for prom. The last time she sang that didn't end well, and I'm sure she doesn't want to remind everyone of this incident.
- When Rachel went to talk to Mercedes about them not having dates, I was hoping so hard that she'd ask her. I think I ship/friendship them more than I thought.
- "Blaine Warbler" was funny when drunk!Rachel said it, but come on! Kurt is his boyfriend, plus he was there when we first heard Blaine's last name.
- "Like a three-way date, but not the dirty kind." "That sounds great" Sam's little laugh and smile!!! He has such dirty thoughts at this moment.
- What's weird with the prom dress dry run is that they do it in the Home Ec classroom. Does that mean they already buy their dresses? So Lauren already bought that yellow atrocity?
- I love Puck and Artie's bromance so much :)
- I was pleasantly surprised with Rolling in the Deep, since I don't like neither Jesse or Adele. The back vocals from the AV club were awesome.
- My respect for Rachel went up so much in that episode. You know it kills her because she's so in love with Finn, but she's still there for him, with the corsage advice. It was beautiful.
- All the guys in the "Isn't She Lovely?" scene! So adorable!!! <3 (Why does Finn have three drumsticks, though?)
- I love that they are not really hard feelings between Artie and Brit. She enjoyed the song, and they don't hate each other, as opposed to all the other couples who break up on this show.
- I love Karofsky so much, the scene outside the classroom was perfect.
- Quinn's dress is stunning. I'll never say it enough, Dianna Agron is such a beautiful girl.
- Mercedes is gorgeous too, and I love Sam with a bolo tie, it's so dorky :P
- Why does Rachel always fall for the dumb guys?
- Loved the tiny hint of Mercedes/Quinn long lost friendship :P
- Oh god, I want a fic where Mercedes cuts Sam's hair.
- Puck's "O RLY?" face at "Sunday comes afterwards" <3
- Brittany: "BEST. PROM. EVER!!!" I totally agree with her.
- Mike looks so handsome, I'm sad we don't see more of him.
- Tina looks exactly how she always looks, sadly.
- I know Jar of Hearts was really fitting for the whole Finnchel storyline, but come on, it's prom, sing something less depressing, will you?
- WHY DOES THIS KID HAVE A BLUETOOTH???
- Awww Brit dancing with a girl <3 <3 <3 ALL THE AWARDS
- Awww Sam/Mercedes <3 I didn't know I shipped them until last night, but they go so well together :D
- Puck and Artie don't know subtlety. AT ALL.
- I'm so sick of Sue and her evil ways. It's not even funny anymore.
- "You suck so bad, Quinn Fabray, I won!" Best Santana line ever.
- And again, my respect for Rachel is skyrocketing. She just got slapped by Quinn but she's still there, supporting and comforting her.
- In the scene when she comforts Santana, Brittany is smarter than she's ever been, or any other character. She may not be book smart, but she's people smart, and that's everything that matters.
- From upclose, Artie's bowtie looks like it's made of paper napkins.
- I just noticed that Figgins wears a boutonnière, but otherwise he's dressed exactly as he always is.
- "Eat your heart out, Kate Middleton" = "Screw that, kids!"
- I love Brad clapping for Kurt with his usual poker face :D
- I loooooooove when Santana and Mercedes do duets together <3
- Awww, that bit of Artie/Brit gave me hope <3
- Quinndependance, dancing with everyone, that's my favorite :)
I totally loved that episode, it was pure fun :D
