I honestly don't know what to think of Karofsky... and that supper bowl episode actually makes me feel less sorry for him than the kiss scene did, oddly enough. O.o

The kiss scene made me hate him. I've been several months seriously disliking him, until I read some fics by tamakito, who seriously has the power of making me love any character. *hopes she never writes about Terri*

So, I started to like him, and then I watched the Superbowl episode (will I ever learn the real title of this episode? It's way too long :P), and I loved him so much! And now I'm writing a fic centered around him, what has my life become? :P

The person below me said what I was kind of thinking, that the whole kiss thing was so desperate and raw that you really felt how upset and confused and troubled Karofsky was. God, I just love how beautifully Chris and Max played that scene...

I love tamakito, we've been having a several weeks long convo on Glee's continuity flaws lately. lol

Personally I just didn't like the superbowl episode(lol... Idek something about Sue and shuffling that had nothing to do with the episode, what ever happened to calling it Thriller?)
Actually, I think I am just going to copy what I said to tamakito about this because it pretty much sums up my feelings on the ep:

The superbowl episode was a little bit to much a little to fast. I expected it to be an episode with a bit more of a resistant and asshole-ish Karofsky. Instead he seemed all good with about everything, forgetting everything his character was up until that point. I'm still hoping that the next Karofsky-heavy episode will maybe take a few steps back into resistant asshole Karofsky territory. I feel like Karofsky's redemption storyline should be more long and drawn out and painful than that episode implied.

Honestly, I am all for Karofsky redemption, but I want him IN PAIN, I want him to finally realize what he's done and have to feel like shit and deal with the fact that because he did such assholeish things Kurt is never going to like him and no one will completely trust him for a long time.

I feel like I went on a bit of a tangent there...

Yeah, I get what you mean, I watched the scene on loop a few times to write my fic, and once I blocked Kurt's heartbreaking reactions from my mind and focused on Karofsky, I really noticed all his despair. They really are stunning actors.

Yeah, well Glee writers aren't the best with characterization (I mean, just look at Sam or Finn!), they tend to make people change very fast, but they get back the way they were as fast, often forgetting the lessons they learned (Will, I'm looking at you...) So yeah, basically this episode was just for fun, and I really loved to see Karofsky this happy, and then he went back to square one at the end, so hopefully we'll have his real redemption storyline soon!

I know, it was totally crazy how Finn was like, "you're my new BFF, come see Kurt!!!"

I am kind of surprised that we haven't had any Karofsky and Kurt interaction since Kurt's transfer... I thought the superbowl episode would have it for sure.

So true. Ugh, Glee and your continuity. I just kind of thought they might try a little harder to keep the characterizations accurate since this is a quite serious storyline.

I know, I've written that off as Finn wanting to believe in and see the best in people, but I was still all 'WTF?! He threatened your brother's life!' But then again Finn doesn't know the whole story either.

Yeah, well since Kurt transfered he's got his Blaine storyline, I guess they didn't want to give him too much storylines because some people already complain about this becoming the Kurt Show.

Indeed, there's a whole part of the story that Finn doesn't know. I'm guessing since he and Puck used to bully Kurt, and now they're friends with him (since they joined glee club), he thinks Karofsky just have to say he's sorry to make everything better.

I mean, there have been several instances since Kurt left where I have been 'Darn! I wish I could have seen how Kurt reacted to this.'

Totally. I think Finn really sees Karofsky as himself a year or so ago. Ergo his insistence that all he needs is to join Glee club etc. Finn thinks it's just societaly taught homophobia, not seriously repressed homosexuality with self-hate issues.

Yeah, me too, especially when Holly came back, he totally loves her, so I was sad for him to miss that. Also, we would have had a glorious eye-rolling!Kurt at Finn's cucumber comment.

Aww poor Finn. Sometimes you just wanna sit down with him, give him a hug, and teach him about life. (Which is kinda weird when I think that Cory Monteith is four years older than me :P)

Haha, It's so weird that all the characters are so old when they're supposed to be playing 16 year-olds. I mean Chris is the youngest at 20. Makes me have a harder time accepting their innocence in some instances.

Darren said in an interview once that Hollywood's standards of 16 y/o are actors in their twenties, and if you saw a real 16 y/o in a movie you'd think he looks way too young. I agree :P

It's so out of character that he made Quinn cheat on Sam when it's exactly that that made him break up with Quinn and Rachel :S And she's obviously just with him to be prom queen even if she's not head cheerleader anymore.

I am still wondering why they went that direction with his character, It didn't make much sense. Is it trying to prove that Finn sucks without Rachel?(which doesn't make sense because he was good with the whole Jesse debacle) Or were the writers just like 'lol lets get Finn and Quinn together just because we can'. I'd like to think that the plot is going somewhere significant with Finn's obsessive need to be liked and a approved of by others but I kind of doubt it.

Well, Ryan Murphy broke up Quinn and Sam because he was bored with them, and obviously, despite all of her good resolutions at the beginning of this season, Quinn can't possibly be alone, so they paired her with Finn :S

Well, the Kurt/Sam storyline has already have its resolution, when Burt talked to Kurt about not stalking straight boys (or something), that's when Kurt realized Sam wasn't interested. I don't see how they could have continued that.

I was referring to how Sam was originally cast to be Kurt's boyfriend but then they randomly suck him with Quinn. That always confused me. I was all 'WTF? Doesn't Kurt get ANY love?' then they cast Darren as Blaine and I was content. haha.

Maybe my opinion of him would be different if I'd been there around that time. I just don't ship him with anybody, I don't think he really had chemistry with anyone. I liked when he was with Quinn, because it was fitting, but other than that, I don't really care about them.

I really love dork!Sam too, it's such a shame that they got rid of him for the storyline with Finn and Quinn. I was glad it was back when he started going out with Santana, even though she told him to stop it. And when he told Artie he wished they were as close as Brit and Santana, so oblivious and adorable!!! :D

We need more Sam being geeky! I love how for all they had about him being self-conscious and stuff, when it really gets down to it Sam will not care what people say and just go for it. For example, the whole Justin Bieber thing. It was absolutely ridiculous but he owned it and therefor it was adorable. I wonder who they're going to pair him with after this? Since Santana will eventually leave him for Brit at some point...

True that. Actually I don't think I've ever seen gay porn... Fic in general is so much better, there is actual feeling behind it and it can be eloquently and beautifully written, you can't have a beautifully and eloquently done porno...

I just started writing smut, and I'm still not entirely at ease with it. I've never wrote anything more than grinding or blowjobs, and I'd feel really weird trying to write anal.
Anyway, most of the time I think anal would be out of place in fics I write, because it's usually the first time for one or both characters, and it's often with Finn. I don't see him going anal for his first time with a guy, especially if he's still questionning his orientation.

Yeah, actually, what got to me was what's going on before he kiss, because Kurt looks so happy, and he gets slammed into the locker very hard, harder than the other times, I think.

I don't know, call me heartless, but I don't see what the big deal is with that cake topper scene. I mean, Karofsky forced a kiss on him and threatened to kill him, but it's stealing a cake topper that scares him enough to transfer? I don't buy it.

For the superbowl ep, I think it would have been more difficult for me to like Karofsky if we'd actually seen some Kurt reaction to him being there. I mean, he must have noticed that Karofsky was singing and dancing with his old glee club, and I wish we'd seen his reaction.

It's not really the fact that he stole the cake topper, but the finger cown Kurt's chest, and the look in his eyes. That was one big look full of, I don't know how to say, but to me it screamed "I'm testing how far I can go!Sexual assault to come". Idk, I was just terrified for Kurt.
